All Police and Crime Commissioners are responsible for commissioning victims’ services in their area.

This means developing funding and overseeing delivery to make sure victims of crime are getting a quality service. It is up to each individual PCC to determine how best to allocate funding to make sure that victims in their area have access to the best and most appropriate support and advice available.

The PCC's budget to spend on locally-commissioned services in 2020/21 is £4,109,761.

In addition, the PCC has been successful in again securing £1,160,000 from the Home Office's Serious Violence Fund to fund a multi-agency Violence Reduction Unit in Kent.
